SAN FRANCISCO – On April 27, more than 800 members of the legal and civil rights community attended the 40th anniversary dinner of the Asian Law Caucus (ALC), which like the Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC), is a member of the Asian American Center for Advancing Justice.  ALC honored the tireless pro bono and workers’ rights efforts of Davis, Cowell, and Bowe, LLP and the courageous activists advocating immigrant rights behind the Asian American Legal Advocacy Center, Inc.(AALAC), the Center for Pan Asian Community Services, Inc. (CPACS), and OCA-Georgia.
