APALC to hold citizenship event at Echo Park library

The Los Angeles City Public Libraries has an ongoing partnership with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and local non-profit organizations to help promote and provide naturalization assistance.

Since the launch of this partnership in September 2012, APALC has hosted eight citizenship events at various libraries in Los Angeles to not only encourage legal permanent residents to apply for citizenship but also to educate the community on the eligibility requirements of naturalization.  And we’re at it again.

On December 6, 2012 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm, APALC will host another citizenship event at the Echo Park branch serving the Filipino and Latino communities. This event will provide general information, pre-screening, and application assistance to patrons.

Flyers have been posted at the Echo Park branch, which is located at 1410 W. Temple Street in Los Angeles. For more information please contact us at (888) 349-9695.  APALC will continue to host such ongoing events at branches that serve the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in Los Angeles.
